Winter Protective Styles

This is one of the protective styles i wear in winter time. I always wear hats in winter and wigs underneath, it is a great way to hide your hair, condition under the wig and hat and nobody knows what's going on underneath, Lol
I always keep my hair moisturized and conditioned, i sometimes braid it up or just twist it up in the back. Always wear a wig cap or scarf to protect hair.
This is great for stretching and resting hair for growth.

Product Preview

Yes Ladies,
the pj-ism has kicked in once again. I promised myself that i would not buy anymore products no matter what promises it made, but alas i am weak of flesh,Lol
Okay what i am gonna do is try this product to reach my goal of BSL, which should be approximately 3months. Maybe this product line will speed up growth for the 3 months and i can reach my goal. If this product works the way it supposed to, i will use it also for my MBL challenge, let see? I will not use and other products but this line. That way i will know that it's this product and not one of the many hundreds, yes hundreds of other products i've tried.

Product Review

All i can say is wow, i never thought a cheapie conditioner could possibly moisturize my super dry hair, but this product really delivers. I heard all the ladies on the hair boards and site talking about how this conditioner really does moisturize the hair, but i'm thinkin, there is no way this cheapie conditioner could do the job of the more expensive conditioners. I was pleasantly surprised when my hair felt like butter, and even though i still had a little tangling, it was way easier than with some other conditioners i have tried. I have just found a staple product. I will use this in conjunction with my more expensive products

All About Fine Hair

Chapter 1
How do you know you have fine hair?

The diameter of fine hair is smaller than people with medium or thick texture. You can have a lot of hair and still have fine hair, the strands itself are very thin, thus making the hair fine. Fine hair generally lacks volume, does not hold a curl very well and is easily damaged and will break easier than medium or thick textured hair. Fine hair can be curly, straight, relaxed, etc.
Fine hair usually gets weighed down by too much products. Fine hair is not necessarily thin hair, although the two often come together. Thin hair means that you don't have a lot of strands on your head. Some people have thick hair that's considered fine because it's silky and smooth. Some people with afro textured hair think their hair is thick until it is straighten out and find that their hair is fine, it looks thick because of it's curliness.

Saturday Wash Day

Okay, so i washed my hair today. I always co-wash.
I was supposed to wash it on thursday.
Just too busy.
I used some left over conditioners, don't know what they were because i don't have a full container of any conditioners, so i just mix it all up and hope for the best. I did add my usual olive oil to the conditioning concoction. I left this conditioner on for about 4 hours because it was my puppy's wash day also and he also needed a haircut, boy this doggie was not feeling it so it took me about 4 hours to do everything with him.
When i finished with my dog. I rinsed the conditioner out, towel dried, and put some EVO in my hair and airdried.
but i must find a detangling conditioner(for fine hair) because no matter what i do, i always seem to tangle. I have a shower comb that's supposed to be a detangling comb but it doesn't work for me. I use a wide tooth comb to detangle that works much better. I always rinse out my conditioner in the shower or there would be alot more hair lost.
