Hair is an important factor in how men perceive their body and how they are perceived by others, so hair tips for men have always been very much sought after. It is one of the most public parts of our body and it is directly linked to the image we create about ourselves. Self esteem beauty and acceptance are all closely connected to hair in every society and thin or grey hair makes us look older and less healthy so both men and women are willing to go to great length to stop the thinning or the graying of their hair. Hair problems affect both sexes, but women and men tend to have slightly different hair issues. While graying and dandruff seem to be problem that both men and women are faced with, hairs thinning and balding are phenomena that seem to get at men more predominantly. In what follows, we would like to present a few hair tips for men to explain how you, guys, can prevent or stop these processes and how to get great hair.

It is well known that a poor diet can exacerbate stress, cause nervous disorders, and affect mental as well as physical development. Eggs, soy yoghurt (it is made from soyamilk) and honey etc., are at first glance all components of a tasty breakfast but they also happen to be hair treatment ingredients and affordable, all natural ones at that.
FOR ALL HAIR TYPES
The Egg (Raw) has been held responsible for the increase of cholesterol in the body. Eggs are out watch word here and they going to make your hair soft, shiny and supple. It contains proteins and is rich in fat soluble vitamins as well as minerals like phosphorus, calcium and iron. The composition of duck’s egg and a hen’s egg is similar and is naturally moisturizing, while the white, who contains bacteria – eating enzymes, removes unwanted oils.
TO USE:
For normal hair, use the entire egg to condition hair; use egg whites only to treat oily hair; use egg yolks only to moisturize dry, brittle hair.
1) Use ½ cup of whichever egg mixture is appropriate for you and apply to clean, damp hair. If there is not enough egg to coat scalp and hair, use more as needed, leave on for 20 minutes, rinse with cool water and shampoo hair. Whole egg and yolks only treatments can be applied once a month; whites only treatment can be applied every two weeks.
2) Grab two raw eggs and massage into your hair and scalp. Let the mixture sit on your hair around 20 minutes (if you can be bothered) then rinse out with white win vinegar. Let your hair air dry and it will be very soft and very lush. If you are not a fan of the white wine vinegar rinse, give beer a go instead.
For dull hair
If your hair is looking a little less than fresh and the use of styling products and pollution have added to dulling your hair grab some diary products like sour cream and plain yogurt can help reverse this damage. The Lactic acid gently strips away dirt while the milk fat moisturizes.
To Use:
Message ½ cup sour cream or plain yogurt into damp hair and let is sit on your hair for 30 minutes, or as long as you can handle. Gently rinse with warm water, followed by cool water then shampoo hair as you normally would. This is more of a treatment then something I would do every day – so you could even rinse your hair with white wine vinegar or try some apple cider vinegar.
For itchy scalp
Here is a good home made remedy for curing your dandruff filled scalp. To fight flakes – brought on by poor diet, stress and climate, among other factors – try a lemon juice and olive oil mixture in your hair. The acidity in lemon juice helps rid your scalp of any loose, dry flakes of skin, while the olive oil moisturizes the skin on your head.
To Use:
Maximum two teaspoons fresh lemon juice, two teaspoons olive oil and two teaspoons water and massage into damp scalp. Let mixture sit for 20 minutes then rinse and shampoo hair. Treatment can be applied every alternative week.
FOR LIMP OR FINE HAIR
To add body to hair, reach for an unlikely beauty beverage: beer! The fermented drink contains generous supplies of yeast, which works to plump tired tresses.
To Use:
Mix ½ cup flat beer (pour beer into a container and let it sit out for a couple of hours to deplete carbonation) with 1 teaspoon light oil (sunflower or canola) and a raw egg. Apply to clean, damp hair, let sit for 15 minutes, then rinse with cool water or add flat beer only to a spray bottle and sprits onto dry hair. “When the liquid evaporates, the remaining protein residue (from the wheat, malt or hops) continues to strengthen and structure hair. Treatments can be applied every alternative week.
For dry or sun damaged hair
Whatever your hair dehydrating demon – hard water, sun overexposure, your trusty flat iron – nature’s sweetener can help. Honey is natural humectants, which mans it attracts and locks in moisture.
To use:
Massage approx. ½ cup honey into clean, damp hair, let sit for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. You can also add 1 to 2 teaspoons olive oil to loosen the honey for easier application. For extremely sun damaged hair, trying mixing honey with 1 to teaspoons of protein rich ingredient, like avocado or egg yolk, which will help replenish the keratin protein bonds that UV rays attack. Treatment can be applied once a month.
For oily or greasy hair
Used properly (cornmeal or cornstarch) is an inexpensive way to remove oil and grease.
To use:
Pour 1 teaspoon cornmeal or cornstarch into an empty salt or pepper shaker and sprinkle onto dry hair and scalp until you have used it all. After 10 minutes, use a paddle hairbrush to completely brush it out. Treatment can be applied every alternative day.
For Frizzy hair
Home beauty experts swear by avocado – and not just to repair damaged hair. Its oils (which are light and moist like our own natural skin secretions) and proteins boast the best combination of nutrients for smoothing and weighing down unruly hair.
To Use:
Mash up half an avocado and massage into clean, damp hair, let us sit for 15 minutes before rinsing with water, Amp up moisturizing power by combining mashed avocado with 1 to 2 teaspoons of a hydrating ingredient, like sour cream, egg yolks or mayonnaise. Treatment can be applied every two weeks.
For residue – ridden hair
Nothing eats through product buildup like baking soda. Sodium bicarbonate essentially breaks down anything acidic.
To Use:
Mix 1 to 2 teaspoons baking soda with small amounts of water until a thick paste forms. Massage into damp hair and let us sit 15 minutes. Rinse with water and then shampoo hair. Treatment can be applied every two weeks.
If your hair is in need of some repair from split ends, healing dandruff or to make your hair super shiny, then this hot olive oil treatment should do the trick. Massage a few tablespoons of olive oil into your scalp and hair (you can heat the oil up by sitting it in a cup in a pot of hot water) and then cover your hair with a shower cap and leave for 30 minutes or more if you can handle it, Shampoo as normal.
